Readers send in photos of their trucks on a daily basis to the 8-Lug offices in the hopes of getting recognized and possibly included in the magazine. There's no way that we can run a photo of every truck we get so often it comes down to the simple fact of whether or not we think the truck looks great.
But sometimes there's some other factor that kicks a truck out of the magazine. Like tires that are too small, or a lift that is just far too big. There's one other thing that sets off a red flag...A Rebel flag.
We got some photos from a reader the other day of a very nice truck but part of the design is a modified Rebel flag. As a national magazine, 8-Lug has to be sensitive to every state in the nation and all of our readers. The Rebel flag, no matter how you feel about it, is one of the most controversial symbols of our times. So, we informed the owner of this truck that we will not be running a feature on his vehicle. We'd like to know...how do YOU feel about that?
