The association offers two types of programs:

Here's some more details about each program.

SEMA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
SEMA is offering special scholarships for full-time students in the U.S. or Canada. If the student  works for a SEMA-member company or is a dependent of a SEMA-member employee, they will receive special consideration during the judging process. The top student will receive $4,000. Four-year degree students are eligible to win $2,000 and two-year/trade-school students are eligible to win $1,000.

SEMA LOAN FORGIVENESS PROGRAM
If you are a recent college graduate with outstanding student loans and work for a SEMA-member company (for at least one year), then you'll want to apply for the SEMA Loan Forgiveness Program. Individuals selected are eligible to win up to $1,000.

Since the fund's inception in 1984, it has awarded more than $1,000,000 in scholarships to more than 400 students engaged in studies leading to careers in the automotive aftermarket or related fields.
