 Is this a new trend? We shot a truck in Turlock, California recently (feature will run in the November or December issue, most likely) and it had tiny wheels and ATV-looking tires.

3. WHAT IS TH WHOLE POINT BEHIND THE SMALL TIRES? WERE THEY THE SAME SIZE AS STOCK? WHY SPEND ALL THAT MONEY ON A LIFT IF YOUR GONNA PUT SMALL TIRES?

4. yeah, I'd be curious as to why this is popular right now. Traditionally a lifted truck with small tires looks "off", but in these cases, I can't imagine it's because the owners can't afford big tires...

5. This is a bit of a two part response/question. I think it's kinda cool, though not my preference. I may not fully understand it but IS this the next real trend? Personally having owned two F-250s I am bit of a traditionalist and I like to see Powerstrokes with a good lift, big tires and small rims. I don't think it's unreasonable, why spend an extra hundred or two hundred dollars for a tire to accommodate a much larger rim? 16"s or 17"s with a 35" to 'go old school'. So here is my dilemma, I love some of the new rims that are out there but start at 18" (i.e. the KMC Rockstars in black) but what I don't like is the low profile of the tire options that are out there unless I go massive. Does anyone have any input on this or are my options just so limited?
